Palliative Health Services Association (PASHIDER) is a non-governmental organization focused on the field of health that gives importance to the physical and mental health of patients and caregivers (2). This project, which will be carried out by our association, serves to train qualified people that Turkey needs, to protect the well-being of patients and their environment, and to increase the level of awareness in terms of care. PASHİDER’s institutional knowledge, together with its personnel who have extensive experience and know how to manage projects for many years, allow the project to be carried out in a professional manner.

One of the most important results of the project is to support the scientific aspect of national and international participants from various provinces and countries and to contribute to the establishment of a service structure that will increase their intervention skills to overcome the crises they experience and find solutions to their problems. In addition, the main effects of the project are to protect the well-being of the caregivers as much as they need palliative care, to improve the health of the elderly, children and young people, to increase their knowledge about the concept of palliative, and to realize their social harmony with the society. We believe that the practices discussed in our congress will be beneficial in the development of health policies and the regulation of legal legislation. Cooperation will be made with public institutions and organizations and NGOs during the implementation process. It is expected that our project, whose multiplier effects are intense, will be imitated and implemented by other NGOs, institutions and organizations.
